Collecting Your Revenue

A fact of business life – some clients and customers will not pay their bills. They have the funds but they don’t want to give it to you. Some ignore invoices and ‘ghost’ you. Others will – falsely – say the work wasn’t finished, or was done poorly, or… you get the picture. For most business owners, debt collection isn’t fun!

One thing is for sure, you’re not in business to chase companies who owe you money. Every moment that you spend on this, you take away from the business. Then there’s the stress, annoyance, general unpleasantness, and more of ‘chasing invoices.’

Our Business is to Get You Paid

I know how to take this burden off your shoulders so you can do what you do so well – run your company. Companies that must put their efforts toward collecting on overdue invoices are hurting their business. It is distracting, frustrating, and more times than not, infuriating.

Put it in my hands. Run your business secure in knowledge that my business is doing the collecting for you.

How We Do It

I am direct but tactful – I know there’s always the chance you may want or need to work with a company that’s late paying.

I will note here that all debtors are not treated the same, nor should they be. Some have extenuating circumstances; I will work with them – to a point. I will talk to your debtor and offer them a chance to pay or set up a reasonable payment plan that is acceptable to you.

Some, however, are looking for an excuse – any excuse – to not pay.

Casebooks are filled with instances where customers of every sort have looked for the slimmest excuse to justify not paying what they owe for work and services provided. I recognize these for what they are: an attempt to get something of value for free.  These are the cases I relentlessly pursue without preamble.

Direct Measures

If the offer to work with the debtor is rebuffed or ignored I will take every and any measure to collect. I will immediately go to court and, as expeditiously as possible, get a judgment. The court will recognize what you’re owed and order it paid.

Then, I will use every tool at my disposal to collect on that judgment: garnishing wages, levying bank accounts, and attaching assets as appropriate.

I know how and when to use the right tools under the proper circumstances to get the best outcome for you as timely as possible.

I get it – I’m a business owner too. I know what you’re going through. I know how to get you paid.
